Annie of Annie's Annuals calls herself a "flower floosie." I'd probably lean toward calling myself a shrub whore but now I'm starting to wonder.
While you're hanging out, would you mind voting for Meryl and Chris of Picardy Project? They're up for an award and voting closes this Friday the 13th. Go vote here!
Whoa, this is your yard? It looks amazing. I continue to vicariously live through your yard work. I just found out we'll be digging 7 feet down, 10 ft wide to fix a water pipe...across the entire front lawn to street. My garden dreams are fading away...tear. But you, go on & work it, ya flooz!
ReplyDeleteGardens recover quickly . . . your yard will bounce back, I promise!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, thanks HEATHER!!!!! That literally made my jaw drop and feel so loved :)
ReplyDeleteBTW your yard looks fucking awesome! I would probably call myself a shrubless/flowerless whore. Our front yard is in desperate need of some landscaping...
No problem! I want my people to win.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you! If you ever want landscaping help I can come over and remove all your lawn ;)

I think it's perfectly acceptable to be both! Awesome photos. No weeds. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, the weeds are in there! The popweed just doesn't declare itself as loudly as dandelions do. :)
ReplyDeleteOf course it's all about the flowers in spring. Shrubs later. But I have to say your gorgeous fire colored tulips with the flame orange spirea foliage (3rd pic down) is a fantastic combo. No rosy pinks or soft spring hues --- give me those hot colors together in spring!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm digging it too! Now I just need to remove the pale pink flowering currant behind it. It sticks out like a sore thumb.

Great garden!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI was at the nursery yesterday and wanted to buy one of everything. I behaved myself and only bought what I went there for. It was hard. So very hard.
