Weeds

Five dollars to whoever can identify this weed. It’s new to my yard this year and it’s EVERYWHERE.

Is it a vine? I have something that looks like that that's been showing up lately but it's very viney.

I'm not sure, Amy. I've been pulling it just as it emerges from the ground but it looks like it wants to be a vine to me.

I've been trying to figure it out for ages. Mine is growing by my honeysuckle and looks exactly like the honeysuckle except for the leaf shape, so it fooled me for awhile. Then last weekend I noticed it somewhere else and realized that this was not some weird honeysuckle hybrid.

Everytime I try to google search, all my results are either 1) malabar spinach (which, yum, but no) and poison ivy (also no, dammit). Let me know if you figure it out.

That looks to me like one of two things that I pull up all the time: maple tree seedlings and grapes. Yeah, grapes. Our neighbor loves them and has planted bunches of them all over – they do produce fruit but I have been afraid to try them.

It looks like the maple seedlings that we pulled up by the handful when we lived in Boston.

That looks like a tree seedling to me! Not sure of the tree though…..hmmmm….what 'cha got in the neighborhood?

Not 100% sure but it looks like the start of a maple tree to me.

LOVE your planter! So awesome! Looks like we have similar taste in plants too! I have some of those coral bells, and also just purchased some ferns for our back yard!

I've got them, too! It's some sort of tree start, but I'm not sure what kind.
