Garden bloggers’ bloom day October 2013

The blooms are in there somewhere.

How about the coloring on that dogwood?

I told the insulation installers that I would murder them if they harmed my babies so they staged my yard like a murder scene.

Touche, Neil Kelly. Touche. Be sure to check out real posts of real flowers at May Dream Gardens. Thank you, Carol!

OMG…that's so crazy…your Muhlenbergia rigens looks like it's gotten into bondage recently…it's always the quiet ones 😉

I love that we can see you flexing your Popeye muscles, that image goes perfectly with the crazy scene.

You are much smarter than I. Why didn't you tell me?!

Although I always get ideas from your posts/garden, the first picture is making me drool! And knowing that it only took about 1-1/2 years to fill in makes me feel like I can "finish" my front yard next spring. I will be scouring back through your blog to see what you planted, because it looks fantastic!

You absolutely can! Although, is a garden ever finished? 🙂

Not just your dogwood is looking fabulous, Heather – there's a lot of color all over your garden. And I'm not talking about bright yellow caution tape.

So you're saying that threatening to murder workers is the key to having one's garden survive a job like this unscathed. Thanks for the pointer!
